Welcome to Manchester Canoe Club.
Manchester Canoe Club is one of the oldest Canoe Clubs in Great Britain. It was founded in 1933, and since then has been involved in the development of the sport, particularly in the areas of river touring on both placid water and white water, and the competitive disciplines of White Water Racing and Canoe Slalom.
Our aim is to enable people of all types and ages to enjoy paddling safely on moving water and to improve their skills by providing a community of like minded people.
Bonfire Night & Working Day
Summer has drawn to a close and the nights are getting longer which means the annual MCC Bonfire Night and Working Day is just round the corner!
As usual this will be the last work day of 2015 so it's important that we get everything sorted before winter. It's also a great opportunity to socialise and plan your next river trip!
Pool Sessions 2015
The nights are drawing in, but don’t despair, the baths sessions at Hazel Grove Swimming Pool return on Sunday, 4th October, 2015, with the last session on Sunday, 27th March, 2016. This year we have Beginners and Rolling courses running in addition to open sessions.
