Welcome to Manchester Canoe Club.
Manchester Canoe Club is one of the oldest Canoe Clubs in Great Britain. It was founded in 1933, and since then has been involved in the development of the sport, particularly in the areas of river touring on both placid water and white water, and the competitive disciplines of White Water Racing and Canoe Slalom.
Our aim is to enable people of all types and ages to enjoy paddling safely on moving water and to improve their skills by providing a community of like minded people.
First Aid Course
The club is organising an 8 hour Aquatic First Aid course on Saturday 16th May. If you are interested in booking on please contact the training officer.

Anglesey Sea Kayaking
It all started at the Anglesey Outdoors centre on Holy Island. We set up camp on high ground surrounded by dense gorse a short distance from the Irish Sea. Tents pitched and camper vans parked meant it was time for beer, food and banter at The Paddlers Return. A nice cosy bar with good food, including apple crumble with custard, and an excellent location... right on the campsite. The ale is good too! There's plenty of scope for enjoying the outdoors in the beer and BBQ garden so hopefully we'll make a return to this site later in the year.
