White Water Safety Courses

A few people have been asking about safety courses (and I've been encouraging others). Thanks to Mr Burke's negotiation skills we can offer each of these courses at £100 per person if we can get 6 people on each course. For people who actively coach for the club or are willing to provide safety cover at club events (eg Serpents Tail) the club can offer a further discount. The normal price for each of these courses is £160 per person making this excellent value.
Both courses will be run by Getafix (Leo Hoare) and will be somewhere in North Wales (most likely on the Tryweryn or Dee).

White Water Safety & Rescue (WWS&R)
Dates: 4th & 5th June
Pre-Requisites:
- Confident paddling on grade 2 rivers
- Confident swimming in normal paddling gear on moving water
- 16 years old

Dates: 15th & 16th June (during the week sorry!)
Pre-Requisites:
- Previously attended a WWS&R (why not do both!)
- Confident padding on grade 3-4 rivers
- Confident swimming in normal paddling gear on moving water
- 16 years old
