Pool sessions

The baths sessions have started again. They will be run on a very similar basis to last year, with a few minor changes.

There will be 4 beginners courses and 4 rollers courses. All courses need to be booked and paid for in advance.

Whilst there are courses running, there is space in the baths which is usually available for people to come and use and do their own thing (down as General). Please contact me to book yourself a place. I will turn people away if we're full.

The times are staying the same -

Sunday evenings

Any bookings with more than 3 people must also pay in advance. If you book & don't turn up or don't cancel (or cancel too often - twice), I won't take any more bookings from you & you can take your chances turning up to see if there are any places left, or you can pre-pay when you book (I know this seems miserable, but we have to cover over £2000 in costs to use the baths).

Double sessions are not available anymore(you can always book 2 sessions if you want the time). We have changed the pricing structure to make the baths better value for members - cheaper !!!! (also to get rid of those annoying 50 pences).

Prices

£50 (£40 Juniors)

Rollers Course

£40 (£30 Juniors) (Members only)

The beginners and rolling courses include cost for the sessions, instruction & boat hire if needed. The general sessions are for people to work on their own skills and non member / boat hire fees are in addition to the session fee, there may be people around to ask for pointers, but there is no set instructor to work with people.

Instructors & Assistants

Anyone wanting to help out with instructing, please contact me. We need people to:

If you want to gain experience of coaching, it is an ideal place to start in the baths assisting the coach in charge - they will direct you and I can set up a mentoring system if anyone wants it. I would like to be able to produce a rota for the coaching so please contact me if you want to help - we can't do it all ourselves!!!
