We will not be taking any entries on the day, nor will we accept any more email entries.

Unless you are judging of course! We always want more help.

Event details

The competition will be held on the artificial white water slalom course at Holme Pierrepont Nottingham, NG12 2LE.

It is our intention to design a course for Saturday that, while testing, will avoid dealing with the bigger features of the course. Conversely, Sunday's course will be set so that the competitor will have to deal with those features.

Please read the start list. If there is a £ next to your name it means that there is a query with the entry fee. If there is a letter against your name there is some other problem with your entry. In either case, please go to Race Control. Unresolved queries may result in you not being allowed to take your run. Officials should pick up their bibs from Race Control

Race Control will be in the rollalong cabin beside the Timing Control building half way down the course.

Camping is available at the National Water Sports campsite opposite the entrance to the course. To book or for more information call 0115 9824721.

Canoeing and Kayaking are "Assumed risk" - "Water contact sports" that may carry attendant risks. Participants should be aware of and accept these risks, and be responsible for their own action and involvement.

SUPERVISION OF JUVENILES AT SLALOM EVENTS

A child must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or a nominated adult who shall assume responsibility for the child throughout the time the child is at the event. Neither the BCU nor the Event Organiser will assume responsibility or be liable for a child who is unaccompanied or unsupervised. Note that while the definition of a child is a person under the age of 18, the statement applies particularly to children under the age of 16.
